Among others, the FOLS hosts: discos, a bingo night, food for the Christmas parties, Easter egg hunt, refreshments for the Lanercost Cross County and social events for the families of children at the school.

Money raised contributes towards the Christmas treat of a pantomime or play, subsidises travel costs, assists with topic learning field trips, and has helped finance new sporting equipment and uniforms among other school requests.  We also support the school council with fund raising initiatives.
